Artem Pylypenko is an artist, designer and researcher whose work combines art direction, installation, jewellery and tabletop object design. In his artistic practice, he focuses on themes related to time, space, cultures and politics, using methods of traditional and folk knowledge in visual arts, crafts and narratives that focus on a hybrid approach to researching and developing visual vocabulary and psychological expression through form.
In addition to his commercial and design work, Pylypenko continues to develop his artistic practice in the fields of theatre and performance, having participated in the Adishakti Laboratory for Theatre Art Research in Pondicherry, India (2023), and the Biennale College Teatro in Venice, Italy (2025). He has also collaborated closely with the Marina Abramovic Institute, the Jerzy Grotowski Institute, Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret, Paula Garcia, Camille Guenatry, Marcel Antunes Roque, Ryszard Kluszynski, John Wood and Paul Harrison in seminars, workshops and collaborative works.
Since 2024, Pylypenko has been based in Barcelona, working on personal artistic projects and commercial commissions.
